Leader of a tribe of amazon women, Queen Kari (Beswick), has vanquished a rival tribe and rules them with savage ruthlessness and cruel arrogance. A hunter (Latimer) stumbles onto the enclave and falls for one of the slaves, so unleashing the anger and envy of the possessive, sadistic Queen.

Allen Strickland Williams

Allen lives in Los Angeles writing and telling jokes. He's performed stand-up comedy twice on CONAN and was recently named one of Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch. One time, I got a standing ovation for telling a single joke. I’m featured on the Holy Fu*$. Live Comedy. album. Illegally download it. I’ve performed at South by Southwest, Moontower Comedy Festival, Funny or Die’s Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, CROM Comedy Festival in Omaha, Comedy Carnivale in Salt Lake City, Hell Yes Fest! in New Orleans, and the RIOT Festival right here in Los Angeles. I was one-fourth of the sketch group WOMEN, which was featured on’s Comedy Crib, Tosh.0 and L.A. Weekly’s 10 L.A. Comedy Acts to Watch. 

James Draper

James Draper was born and raised in the heart of America. Taking an interest in comedy as early as 4 years old. Performing stand up in front of his brother and cousins at the age of 7. Took an interest in drama/drama club and performed in plays throughout his educational career. Then, hit with the reality of where he was and the need for a job, James put his dream on hold and went to work.

Chris Schlichtling

Growing up on the mean streets of Iowa, Chris Schlichting knew that he either had to take up stand-up comedy or join the notorious Midwest gang known as "The Farmers."  Described as "hilarious" by his mom and as "not having a real job" by his dad, Chris takes pride in his immature, yet sincere stand-up style.   This unique comic is quickly gaining a reputation as one of the best comics on the planet, and by "planet" we mean "his street."  With the confidence of a lion, the agility of a puma, and the intelligence of a really smart house cat, Chris is sure to leave you laughing, and wanting more.

Travis Bails

Travis Bails is Mount Vernon, Iowa native who is a regular host and emcee at Penguin’s Comedy Club in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He finished in the Top 5 in The 2016 Funniest Person in Iowa Contest. His relatable personal life and hardships will make your heart melt and make your head explode. He’s trying to turn his weird life into something we can all laugh about.

Noah Innis

Noah Innis is a stand-up comedian hailing from Des Moines, IA. He’s worked with great comedians such as Pete Holmes, Ron Babcock, Junior Stopka and many more. If you’re in Des Moines, you might be able to catch him at Vaudeville Mews, Streetcar 209 (formerly House of Bricks) or any of the other great comedy rooms in the area. You may have seen him perform in Iowa City at The Mill or the IMU. 

Jessica Misra

I am a comedian from Iowa City. I host the Hitchhike open mic on thursday at High Grounds and am one of the producers of Floodwater Comedy Festival.


Alex Carter

Alex owns and operates Black Cat Ice Cream, he cohosts the podcast Let's Ruin Our Childhood, he's a stand-up comedian, an artist, former pastry chef, and plant enthusiast. A true philomath and student of life.


Sophia Smarandescu

Sophia Smarandescu, Ames comedy terrorist, leaves a wave of destruction and confused looks wherever she goes. Her comedic style blends real life experiences, chairs, and microwaves. She co-produces DG’s Taphouse Comedy Showcase in Ames, Iowa, and runs an all-talent open mic.

Mike Lucas

Mike Lucas is a dad and a husband from beautiful Iowa City, IA. He also happens to perform stand up comedy anywhere allowed. He enjoys working to further comedy in Iowa. He has performed in many comedy festivals and made the finals in several comedy contests. He even happened to win the Laugh Hard Challenge in Illinois last year. He is very proud of the show he co-produces at the Blue Moose in Iowa City called Let’s Do This! If you need him you can probably find him complaining on Twitter at @Lucasentric.

Donny Townsend

Donny Townsend has been making people laugh in Eastern Iowa and beyond for the better part of the last decade. He recently won first-place at the Speakeasy Laugh Hard Comedy Competition in Rock Island, IL, and hosts the weekly Circumstantial Comedy Show every Sunday at Brew in the Village in Davenport.

James Doyle

James Doyle is a midwestern comedian from Marshalltown, IA. He co-produces "Panic! At the basement" and "For Real, For Sure." In Des Moines, Iowa. James has performed his unique, high energy comedy at Beast Village comedy fest, Cream City comedy festival Turnbuckle comedy fest. James is a sweet boy and means well.

Tommy Morgan Jr.

Tommy Morgan, Jr. is a comedian living in Des Moines, Iowa. He began performing at the age of six, when he would scream-sing selections from The Lion King in his underwear to anyone who would listen. He has done slightly better for himself lately.


Dan Umthun

Dan Umthun was born in Alabama, and was raised in Iowa. He began performing stand up since 2006, has run the Underground Comedy Open Mic since 2008, curated regular showcases in Des Moines since 2009, a weekly comic book- culture webcast called The Doomcast, and has been JUST BLESSED to perform with a shitload of awesome people. He has helmed Beast Village since 2014 along with. He and his wife have two cats, two dogs, a comic collection and lots of pretty good jokes.


Zach Martina

A supportive family, a loving relationship and kids who adore him, that’s the American Dream. Unless you’re Zach Martina, then it’s a recipe for skepticism and anxiety. Using his sarcastic wit, creative wordplay and a loveable arrogance, Zach brings his big personality to crowds across America as they wonder: “I don’t know what he’s freaking out about, but it’s pretty funny.”


Performing at clubs across the country and at events such as the Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival, The World Series of Comedy and the Laugh Your Asheville Off Festival, Zach has had the good fortune to share the stage with the likes of Dave Chappelle, Flight of the Conchords, Hannibal Buress & Rory Scovel. Zach brings an energy all his own and points the finger of blame at every single person; except himself.

Luke Swanson

Originally from Park View, Iowa, Luke has solidified himself as one of the most sought after comedians from clubs to colleges, to quite literally any venue you can imagine. Listening to Luke on stage is always a treat, and if you don't make a friend out of him, it's gotta be your fault!

Jen Kuhle

Jen Kuhle is a recent transplant to the Quad Cities and an even more recent addition to the ComedySportz roster. She joined CSzQC in September 2017, but her fondness for improv started three years ago and has since taken her across the Midwest. Jen enjoys all forms of improv, and when that isn’t enough comedy, she can be seen doing stand up. She is a fan of loud audiences and games with quirky characters.

Bobby Ray Bunch

From sold out theaters and comedy clubs to private corporate luncheons and family birthday parties, Bobby has been performing as a professional stand-up comedian since 2010. His ability to adjust his comedy style and material to fit any audience makes him the perfect choice for your next event. His material revolves around his life, his time in the Air Force and everyday observations that leave crowds of all kinds laughing. He’s opened for acts such as Todd Barry (Comedy Central, Louie, The Wrestler), Janeane Garafalo (Mystery Men, The Larry Sanders Show, HBO), Emmy Award winner Tig Notaro and Last Comic Standing Winner Josh Blue.”

Trent Struzynski

Trent Struzynski is an Iowa City comedian. He cohosts the podcast "Batman 'n' Batman's Wall of Shame. He has performed in Floodwater Comedy Festival. Trent is a one-of-a-kind performer, to say the least. He likes to maintain an absurd and playful tone that keeps you guessing. Trent is just a nifty dude with a rad 'tude.

Daniel Frana

Daniel Frana is a comedian originally from the backwoods of Northeast Iowa. Due to an overactive pineal gland Daniel spreads lampoonery with good cheer everywhere he goes. You may have seen him at The Establishment Theater in Rock Island, The Wonder Bar in Chicago, and in The Beast Village Comedy Festival in Des Moines, or as a finalist in both the Funniest Iowan and IC4 Comedy Competitions. He hosts monthly shows at the Mill in Iowa City and is the host/co-producer of the Funny or Die Comedy showcase at the Blue Moose Taphouse. He’s worked with comedians such as Barry Rothbart, Brooks Wheelan, Kyle Kinane, and TJ Miller! 

Justin Bulver

Justin Bulver is a comedian from Des Moines, Iowa who has performed all over the Midwest. He tells jokes with a sense of humor that is both thoughtful and playful. He owns zero cats. He likes to wear ties for fun.


Max Power

Max Power biked here from Ames, Iowa and has a future so bright she has to wear shades over her regular glasses, a situation for which there is no emoji. *that sad face emoji where one side droops a little more than the other* She plays roller derby, writes poetry, and probably thinks you have a great butt!


Ryan De La Garza

Having performed comedy for more than four years at open mic nights and showcases in various venues around Omaha, de la Garza decided to embark on his own tour and exhibit the unique webcam comedy experience known as “You Had to Be There.” Comedians involved in the event improvise with random strangers on the internet for a bit of unexpected fun.
