Artist Alan Campbell has put together a tribute to 1967 and the Summer of Love in San Francisco. Campbell is a mixed media artist using a unique variety of materials and techniques... torches and gunpowder to burn images into reclaimed wood, LED lights, umbrellas and you have to see the six-foot popsicle made of styrofoam!
Bucktown is a component of MidCoast Fine Arts, a leading Quad-City non-profit organization focused on stimulating our community’s cultural and economic vitality through the support of regional visual arts and artists.
Founded in July of 2005, Bucktown has played an important role in the continued growth of downtown’s Iowa Cultural and Entertainment District.
