Outside of weddings, I love exploring local restaurants, supporting small businesses, and finding new adventures around the Quad Cities. I'm so excited to be part of the Alternating Currents Creative Crew and help capture this year's festival!

Carly Hux

Bio: I am a Quad City native and us army veteran. I have a passion for art and music, and love being able to combine those passions to capture live music performances with my camera. I also enjoy roller skating, hiking with the FemScouts, and making memories with my friends!

Dillon Bisig

Hometown: Cedar Rapids, IA

Bio: I am a photojournalist, specializing in concert photography, who has covered bands/live events since 2014. I have covered everything from legends like Judas Priest to hard-hitting local bands such as Phantom Threat. My goal, with my photography, is to capture the raw energy, intensity and the occasional chaos that can come out of a live event.

Elena James

Hometown: Beloit, WI

Facebook: Elena James

Instagram: @elenajphoto

Bio: Hi everyone! My name is Elena, a music photojournalist with a passion for capturing the raw energy of live performances. I view concerts as a cultural experience and love being able to freeze these special moments in time! I’ve covered events anywhere from local underground shows to national touring acts such as Taking Back Sunday, Silverstein, and more. I have been a music junkie for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed showcasing local talent.

Geovanni Hernandez

Hometown: Davenport, IA

Instagram: @geoforce__

Bio: Geovanni Hernandez is a photographer and graphic designer based in Davenport, Iowa. What began with nothing more than a cellphone, a few deep fried Instagram filters, and a vivid imagination quickly grew into a lifelong passion for visual storytelling. That passion eventually expanded beyond photography into graphic design, allowing him to communicate ideas through multiple creative mediums. Geovanni's work initially centered on capturing the beauty of nature before evolving to capture the energy, emotion, and candid moments of live events. Most recently, he has focused on concert photography, creating dynamic images that capture the atmosphere and excitement of live performances.

Ginger West

Hometown: Aledo, IL

Facebook: G West Media

Instagram: @gwest_media

Bio: Music has always been a huge part of my life, especially Americana, roots, bluegrass, indie folk, and alternative music. Pairing that passion with photography and videography has allowed me to tell the stories of the artists and performances that inspire me most. I love capturing the emotion, energy, and genuine connection that make live music so unforgettable.

J. Wolfskill / Wolfskill Mediaworks

Hometown: Davenport, IA

Bio: One guy. Full-send. And unreasonably good at this. "In 2025 my band played Alternating Currents, now I'm back with a camera and zero interest in safe shots. Chaos. Sweat. Perfect timing. I'm not here for the corporate polish — I'm in it for the love of the game and the moments that hit harder than words."

Matthew Terry

Hometown: Davenport, IA

Bio: Matthew Terry is a contemporary photographer and author from the Quad Cities. Lost within his surroundings he found photography, and through this medium he found a way to connect with other individuals who also felt a similar level of detachment. Picking up his first film camera at age 16, he has since exhibited work at galleries from San Francisco to Rome along with seeing work published both nationally and internationally. A featured guest at the 2021 Celebrate Iowa Gala, Matthew is a quickly emerging talent attempting to change the perception of what Midwestern/Iowa art has traditionally represented

Mandi Dresing

Hometown: Heyworth, IL

Bio: My favorite things in the world include live music, travel, a good view, & tasty treats, & I love to share those with others along the way. I've lived in the Quad Cities since 2013, & Alternating Currents is one of the local offerings I enjoy the most (besides Whitey's Ice Cream, of course).

Roberta Osmers

Hometown: Davenport, IA

Bio: Roberta Osmers is a photographer rooted in the Iowa Quad Cities.  She began her photography journey as a live music photographer, celebrating the local music scene through Local Scene Magazine for 10 years.   While keeping one foot firmly planted in that scene, she has expanded her reach to include burlesque, dance and drag performances, as well as portraiture and landscape photography. Her portfolio balances realism with creative exploration, offering both documentary and expressive imagery.

Shayla Ray

Hometown: Hannibal, MO

Facebook: Shayla Ray Art

Instagram: @shaylarayart

Bio: I'm an artist and creative who loves documenting the people, performances, and moments that make arts and music events unforgettable. Whether I'm behind a camera or a paintbrush, I'm always drawn to authentic stories, vibrant creativity, and the connections that bring communities together. I hope my photos help you experience the festival from a fresh perspective!

Shyanne Rusher Photography LLC

Hometown: Geneseo, IL

Bio: I was born and raised here in Illinois, being landlocked in the middle of America. It has helped me to create and imagine, some people call it daydreaming I think it's intuitive! I have two cats Jake and Leo, and the sweetest nephew in the world! I love to see the details in people in nature that may have been overlooked. For over 10 years I was a painter, and I wanted to expand into my hidden interest of photography. To describe my style, I would say it is filmy, romantic, bold and candid.
